“Ms. O’Con envelops the viewer in a harsh world where the articulation of the dancer’s back — sometimes grotesque and sometimes oddly beautiful — creates ghostly, surreal images that play tricks on your mind....But this work is about more than a series of bizarre positions. In its final moments the dancers recede; Ms. O’Con, keeping the big picture intact, allows the space to grow.”
